9 yr plan 2025 and Local Water Done Well Submission

Submission

9 year plan feedback

Should we remove 231 Stuart Street (formerly the Fortune Theatre) from the list of strategic assets in the DCC Significance and Engagement policy?
No, keep 231 Stuart Street as a strategic asset

Do you have any comments about 231 Stuart Street?
Where is the replacement theatre? Let's not get rid of the Fortune until we have an alternative?!

Should we charge an entry fee of $20 (incl. GST) for international visitors aged 16 and over, at Toitū and Dunedin Public Art Gallery?
No, do not introduce an entry fee of $20 (incl. GST)

Do you have any comments about the entry fee for international visitors?
I do not view this as a sensible proposal. How will people be identified as international visitors? Because they look foreign? What about all the international students who are a large part of propping up our local economy? This may make a few dollars for the city, but in the long run could do some real harm to our reputation.

Is there anything else you would like to tell us?
Where is the focus in this process on South Dunedin?
