I overall prefer Option 2. However, I am puzzled by the removal of the bus stop outside Garden's Health Centre. A while ago, the bus stop on 17 North Rd (outside Beam Me Up Bagels) was removed. Combined with this, the proposed changes would create a huge gap between the end of George St and 79 North Road. I didn't see anything in the plan about replacing this removed bus stop.
Additionally, it looks like the Roundabout changes could still be quite iffy for cycling. I think the raised entrances to the roundabout will help a lot, but I wonder if additional safety measures could be constructed for cyclists and pedestrians. I have no idea what this would look like though!
