If you can incorporate cycle lanes into roundabout option 2, that would be perfect. I think making st Davids one-way is a good idea. People rarely use that street in the other direction anyway. I think a focus on cycling and pedestrian safety is critical. Fixing that ghastly intersection is a great step forward.
