Strongly support the intersection improvements (kerb build-outs, raised pedestrian crossings, pedestrian islands), end-destination streets that provide direct access to shops and houses should have minimal through traffic (hence my support for the complete changes made in St David St Option 1). Understand difficulty implementing full-protected cycle-lanes, recommend smaller high-vis bike lane dividers/separators as compromise (George St Option 2). Roundabout Option 2 preferred as Option 1 complicates and defeats the purpose of roundabout.
