Providing an extra cycle-way is an un-necessary extravagant expense as there is is one that is only 1-2 blocks away and is nowhere near capacity ( I barely see anybody using it). There are other things that need money spent on them rather than duplicating a low use cycleway.
In-lane bus stops are are a cop out for poor road design and lack of resources for a proper bus stop. There is one in Elgin Road and it is a danger when the bus just stops in the lane without warning for seemingly no reason. The traffic backs up and clogs any nearby intersections. Emissions and frustrations are increased. It is a solution that creates more problems than it solves.
