As a cyclist, it is SO GREAT to have devoted cycle ways e.g. the new habour cycleway, Portobello cycle way etc, as no longer worry about being doored, plus there is a good community vibe on these routes. So always very keen to see any proposed cycle plans that exclude car traffic! and North road is diabolical for cyclists due to high traffic numbers and many intersections, would love to see a quiet cycle route developed away from North rd that goes to Normanby.
