I would prefer to see the trees retained in favour of car parks. I would strongly encourage the DCC to plant natives if trees are removed to make up for the loss of greenery. In general i agree with parking restrictions as there is a mix allowing those staying longer to eat/drink in the vicinity if they choose to drive and also the option of P5 for those to pick up from shops and make short transactions if they choose to drive.
