Should we remove 231 Stuart Street (formerly the Fortune Theatre) from the list of strategic assets in the DCC Significance and Engagement policy?
Yes, remove 231 Stuart Street from the list of strategic assets (this is our preferred option)
Do you have any comments about 231 Stuart Street?
Is there a way to pass this onto another entity/ sell or gift. It is a beautiful iconic building.
Should we charge an entry fee of $20 (incl. GST) for international visitors aged 16 and over, at Toitū and Dunedin Public Art Gallery?
Yes, introduce an entry fee of $20 (incl. GST) (this is our preferred option)
Do you have any comments about the entry fee for international visitors?
Agree to charge international visitors for sure. I think $20 may be too much. A fee of $10 won’t put visitors off going in. As a couple $40 is a lot to pay, however, $20 seems reasonable. I think you may make more money out of having it a little cheaper.
Is there anything else you would like to tell us?
Local Water Done Well feedback
Which water services delivery model do you support?
The Council’s preferred option: an in-house delivery model
Why did you choose this option?
Is there enough knowledgeable internal resource to deliver this model efficiently and effectively?
Do you have any other feedback related to the proposed water services delivery models?
Whichever model is chosen there should be good cross discipline integration and collaboration on all water projects to maximise benefits for the community. Providing basic water services and missing opportunities to integrate good community outcomes (ie. additional green spaces, opening stormwater drains and integrating community recreation spaces where applicable).
The best outcomes on infrastructure projects come from cross discipline coordination and round table design workshops with a diverse range of experts in the room.
