Submission
Variation 2 change ID GF10 Provision name and number, or address and map layer name My/our submission seeks the following decision from the Council: Accept the change with amendments outlined below Details Accept the changes of GF10: rezoning from Rural to large lot residential 1 - 32/ 45 Honeystone St. The rezoning from Rural to large lot residential 1 should be extended to include the properties 63, 71, 85 Wakari Rd and 32 Larkins St Reasons for these views The reasons the sections mentioned above should change to large lot residential 1: It can be seen in the 2006 District plan that a line was drawn from the residential properties on Larkins Street roughly parallel to Wakari Rd creating a block of residential land. GF10 moves this residential line back to a common property boundary line roughly parallel to Wakari Rd and coincides with the steeper and bush clad part of the hills behind this former farmland. These properties would eventually be surrounded by residential homes who may object to rural activities. Although the land is Rural it is not economic to undertake most rural actives at the scale of these properties. I have spoken to two of the other three property owners and I have the impression that they thought my suggestion outline is a good idea and would like to see it accepted as part of GF10
